Multnomah Falls, Oregon March 2007

Multnomah Falls is a water fall on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge, located east of Troutdale, between Corbett and Dodson, along the Columbia River Highway. The falls drops in two major steps, split into an upper falls of 542 ft (165 m) and a lower falls of 69 ft (21 m), with a gradual 9 foot (3 m) drop in elevation between the two, so the total height of the waterfall is conventionally given as 620 ft (189 m). Multnomah Falls is the second tallest year-round waterfall in the United States. (Wikipedia)

The photo's below are from two different trips to Multnomah Falls. When I moved to Oregon Hope, Daniel (with his dog) and myself stopped off to visit the falls coming into the Portland area. The falls is about 22 miles East of Portland. It was raining, go figure! The second trip to the Falls was when my boys (Shane & Matthew) along with Hope visited me during the Spring Break of 2007 (March). I followed them out of town and we stopped off at the falls. We climbed up the trail to the top of the falls (approx 628 ft hight). The boys ran up... I struggled! Enjoy!
